2. My coworker first reaction should be to make sure resident doesn't get injured. The safety concerns that should be monitored are making sure the residents call light is within reach and make sure bed side rails are up and make sure the residents has a clear walkway around room and bathroom. The cna can display teamwork by calmly explaining to resident its not safe to get up without help and the cna should be reassuring, also he should report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.

2. My coworker should make sure resident doesn't get injured , and let me know what happen. And will check on the resident immediately and ask the resident if he or she need to use the restroom . before i leave the room ill make sure he or she is safe and setup the bed alarm.

3. Yes this is physical abuse, I would tell my coworker to stop and i will ask another coworker to help me assist the resident and i will report abuse to my supervisor .

That is an abuse causing physical,and emotional because the resident can feel humiliated and intimidated . I would tell my coworker i will take over and help the resident with respect and apologized for my coworker . And i will report it to my charge nurse and the director of nurse.
